Batuputih is approximately 60 kilometers from Manado (2 hrs. drive) and is right on the border of Tangkoko National Park. It is the best place to explore the biodiversity of the nature reserve, which is home to the world’s smallest mammals “Tarsius Spectrum” as well as the Sulawesi Black Crested Macaques (Macaca Nigra or simply Yaki in the local language), Bear Cuscus and many endemic bird species, such as the Sulawesi Knobbed Hornbill.
Bobby runs Tangkoko Lodge together with his wife Nelly Wulage. They aim to provide excellent hospitality and comfort. The lodge has 7 spacious bungalows, each with indoor showers with warm water and AC. Nelly runs the kitchen, where you can enjoy local dishes
